Hello fellow livewirians. To kick off me being the new dictionary manager, I am hosting a contest for dictionary entries.
There will be 3 categories to enter, and you may submit 1 entry to any or all of the categories. One entry per person per category please.
You cannot simply copy and paste any of these. They will be checked against urban dictionary and other Internet dictionary sites, so be creative and unique.
ontest End Date: August 25th, 2008.
Category 1: Teh Internet
In this new technological age, acronyms rule the world. Define an acronym or Internet word that has not yet been defined, or provide a valid alternate definition. (i.e. if someone defined QFT as Quite Fairy Turtles, and that is clearly not the definition we all operate under you are allowed to redefine it)
Category 2: Teh livewire
Define an active member of livewire. You cannot define a member with a closed or banned account name. You can define a member that has already been defined. Be creative, be funny, and be sure to follow livewire guidelines.
Category 3: Teh Webster
Define a word, any word. The trick here is to make your definition both accurate and creative. Copying and pasting from Webster's is boring, lets make our dictionary fun!
To enter
First define the word in the livewire dictionary. Then enter it here on the contest page. Be sure to include in your post which category the word is for. (although most of the time this will be obvious)
