Coat pocket, trouser pocket, let's not split hairs. Holding it in your hands could help you, although with such a mentally unstable person it's impossible to know without talking to a pyschiatrist who knows them before hand.

Seriously, though, what pisses me off isnt that the guy was sick enough to do that. Clearly, he had some issues. What bothers me is that there were 38 other people who left the bus. Yeah, 4 went back to help, but by that time, the guy was dead. if all 38 of them had jumped the attacker, the victim would probably still be alive. Sure, he was armed, but against that many people, he wouldnt have had a chance.

*sigh* You didnt read, did you? It took three hours. The man had time to scream, which means he was a live for a period of time during the attack. Additionally, the attack started with a stabbing. A number released on the radio here was 40+ times, before he began to chop the victims head off. This guy didnt die in 2 seconds.
