Hmmm, I think you misunderstood me. You dopn't have to go to COLLEGE there are other things out there like the Military, Trade Schools, Apprenticeships. Colloege is not the only thing out there to further your education.

College is pretty much the only thing that will get you a decent job, though. Trade schools and apprenticeships are nice, but they're not what employers are looking for. And, well, Military may advance your education, but, again, employers tend to look at education in 'primary' system over anything else.

Or, at least, that's been my experience.

If everyone went to college we wouldn't have any skilled workers. No Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, pretty much no construction and maintenance workers. Sure in college you can study to become an Anesthesiologist but some people just don't have that kind of money for college or just don't want to spend that much time in college. You can get a decent job with out college.

Those skilled workers have to also attend some sort of College/University level classes.  Plumbers, Technicians, they're not straight out of high school. They attend Technical Colleges, Vocational Colleges, Community Colleges. They have to.
