Hi CrimsonTide, I'm brand new here, just joined and saw your post. I'm so sorry to hear not only about your loss, but what you had to go through leading up to it. I'm in my fourth year of uni now, but lost my mum to cancer just a few months before I started my first year. Similar kind of situation. She'd been given the all clear a few months earlier, but I came home from work to find her very sick. She passed away in hospital about a month later. Please, if you want to talk (about anything), just send me a PM or whatever. Although every situation is different, I can understand where your head might be at the moment - god knows I've been there. Do you have a dad and siblings? If I can give you any advice, it's to lean on each other as much as possible, you're all going through it together. It sounds cliche, but things really do get better with time.
Take time out if you need it. The world will keep turning, even if it doesn't feel that way right now.
Love..

In the world we must seek, love is purged of the instinct for domination.
