I just recieved my financial aid letter int eh mail, and it looks like this.

Sounds like you were given $1,437.00 to cover the cost of the spring semester. The Budget for your spring semester was $6,192, but with the finical aid you owe or still need 4,755 to pay it off. That is my best guess. I suggest you call the financial aid center to confirm.
The thing i don't understand is how it could be that much. I'm taking 3 classes at a community college that are worth 12 credits combined, and my combined tuition for the classes is $827.00 so what could be costing so much extra? in the guide from the school it says to earn 12 credits like i am it will cost aproximatley $802.60 so thats why i dont get it??
Ok so that makes sense, sounds like this finical aid covers more then just courses, but book costs, that's where the real money goes into in terms of community college. And I think the $4,000 left is what you will owe for the next 3 semesters. Like I said before, I wouldn't second guess this stuff. Call the finical aid center.
