I have a newfound talent for theatre this year.  I was in the play inherit the wind, as well as the musical Annie get your gun.  I have pictures of me looking like a cowboy in my IB.

I hope to continue performing next year and possibly in college.

I havent taken any grades though because the songs bored me, the onyl reason i ever play piano is to play songs that i actually know, not stupid songs from the 1980s mixed with a few blue scales

But anyway Ive been playing since year 9, I took a GCSE in music and when it came to the performing you take two exams, a solo piece and a group piece. For my solo i played 'Good Enough - Evanescence' and for my group piece i played 'Lithium - Evanescence' (i have a vid of this on youtube, message me if you want the link)

But anyway, combined i got an A* 9the highest grade) for those songs with a score of 89%. I was very pleased

I have had plenty of solos in chorus concerts

and the biggest role in a school play was Anita in West Sida Story  ^_^

I sing baritone, although I've faked tenor at times. I used to be quite the thespian when I was a little kid, I always got the lead role in like, first and second grade. My first performance was when I was Peter Rabbit in Kindergarten.

Recently, (I've been trying to get back into musical theatre) I've done a couple shows... Beast in Beauty and the Beast, The Wizard in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Ensemble in Jekyll and Hyde, Evelyn in Anything Goes, Snoopy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown!

I've been playing bassoon for seven years, and I will be majoring in bassoon performance at the Boston Conservatory in the fall.

I also play piano in a prog rock band, and I've been playing for about three years, on and off.

I'm decent at jazz sax, and can fake talent at clarinet, flute, oboe and guitar.

From fifth grade till eighth I played the Flute.  Currently I play the guitar.

As for performance, I'm able to use a chinese yo yo!!! :D

My other theater credits include "Annie"- Ms. Hannigan, "Seussical the Musical"- Bird Girl, "Alice & Wonderland"- Caterpillar & Tulip, "The Music Man", and "Bye, Bye, Birdie"

I just finished my 7th year the the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus and have taken extensive voice lessons for several years.

I hope to persue musical theater in the future.
